Cave Consultancy was established in 2003 by Richard Dickinson to provide a bespoke and expert level of building surveying and project consultancy services to commercial clients.
Prior to setting up Cave Consultancy, Richard worked at Jones Lang LaSalle in both their London and Jakarta offices, the latter as Country Head of Project and Development Services.
Richard is a Chartered Building Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, being awarded Fellowship status at the age of 30. He has previously chaired RICS assessment of professional and competence panels for applicants wishing to become members of the RICS.
Richard holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying in addition to an MSc in Building Rehabilitation and has lectured on Building Surveying at the Universiti Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. His articles have appeared in professional journals and national newspapers. Richard continues to maintain an interest in the international building surveying profession.
With over 30 years experience in all aspects of commercial building surveying and project consultancy, Richard advises clients on commercial properties throughout the UK, Europe and South East Asia. His specific expertise includes dilapidations, contract administration and planned maintenance of commercial buildings.
